NORANTZ is an audible database which aims to study grammatical variation in the Northern Basque Country.

The project has focused on the study of a set of morphosyntactic variation phenomena in order to analyse the mechanisms which underlie and condition grammar variation and change as part of ongoing research for the next years.

With several searching possibilities, the database contains 178 phonetic and 568 morphosyntactic questions. Structured interviews were conducted with 59 informants of different sociolinguistic profiles. All their answers are available here as audio and text files.
